Obituary of Bessie Mae Jones

Bessie Mae Jones, age 80 of Hendersonville, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 18^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 18^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Gallatin Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.

Mrs. Jones was born March 16, 1942 in Joelton to the late Webb and Mildred Stafford.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Billy Gene Stafford; and sister, Janie Stafford Holmes.  She is survived by son, James Jones, Jr of Hendersonville; daughters, Betty Jones-Dile of Smithville, Sue Stafford Massey (Ronald) of Lebanon, and Margaret Jones (Randy Casteel) of Lebanon; brothers, Webb Stafford, Jr. (Nancy) of Smithville; sister, Margaret Dixon of Hendersonville; 4 grandchildren, Cassie Hill, Chrystal Hill, Parker Odell Doney, and James DeWayne Doney; and 6 great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritage.com.  Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin has been honored to assist the family.
