Obituary of Joe Robinson

Joseph “Joe” Pierce Robinson III, age 84, of Mt. Juliet, entered rest on August 25, 2022.

Joe was born on May 13, 1938, in Wilmington, Delaware and was the son of the late Joseph P. Robinson, II and Carolyn M. Cordell. He was a member of New Heart Christian Church. Throughout his life, he was an avid race car driver, a certified scuba diver, and fire fighter. He owned and operated a European car repair shop in Nashville. Joe was a highly skilled and respected certified master mechanic in the Nashville area for many years.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Kristin D. Moyers (Chuck) and Cherice Albert; and aunt, Elizabeth Bette Dougherty. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Deborah “Debbie” Robinson; sister, Sarah White; children, Lisa (J.T) Robinson, Stacy (Eddie) Carter, Joseph M. Robinson, Erin (Steve) Hunnicutt, and Joseph P. Robinson IV; grandchildren, Josh, Megan, Lesley, Ashley, Christian, Joey Jr., Joshua, Jacob, Cameron, Laynee, Lily, Levi, Joseph V, Luke, Jack and Brenna; great-grandchildren, William, Grayson, Karter, and Kamryn.

The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 27^th at 3pm at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee with Pastor Paul Steiner officiating.
