Obituary of Michael Stephen Garrison

Mr. Michael Stephen Garrison, age 64 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at TriStar Portland ER. Mr. Garrison was born on September 17, 1957 to the late Carly and Ruth Brooks Garrison.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Dianne Garrison; children, Kelly (Skip) Morgan, Matthew (Ashlyn) Garrison, and Patrick (Jessi) Garrison; grandchildren, Shelby Morgan, Smith Morgan, and Harper Garrison; brother, Randall Garrison; sister, Lorie (David) Elliott.

Along with his parents, Mike was preceded in death by an infant brother, Darrell Garrison; sister, Rhonda Durham; sister-in-law, Debbie Garrison.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 13^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Pastor Matt Klein officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rippy Cemetery with Matthew Garrison, Patrick Garrison, Skip Morgan, Luke Elliott, Logan Elliott, Jeremy Durham, and David Elliott serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 12^th from 4:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday, September 13^th from 10:00 AM until time of service.
