Obituary of Virginia Norina Gomez

Virginia Norina Gomez, age 74, of Mount Juliet, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 in Nashville.

She was born on January 5, 1948 in Queens, New York to the late Joseph Canderan and Josephine Bollini Canderan.

She enjoyed reading, watching game shows, and more than anything else, spending time with her grandchildren. She worked for over 20 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Knowing her was to love her, and she was a true people person. She cherished her family and the life that she was blessed with.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Arthur Gomez; son, and his wife, Dave and Lisa Gomes; grandchildren, Jake and Justin Gomes. She is also survived by numerous friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm with additional visitation hours from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mount Juliet. No additional services are scheduled.
