Obituary of Elgia "Leroy" Link

Mr. Elgia “Leroy” Link, age 74 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at his residence. Leroy was born on October 18, 1948 in Franklin, Kentucky to the late John Thomas and Emma Ruth Link.

Leroy is survived by his sisters, Lucille Link Bruce and Gloria Faye Link; grandchildren, Jordan Faulkner and Tristen Faulkner; step-son, David Dixon; special friend, Patsy Munday Harper; several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Leanne Faulkner; brothers, Thomas Dale Link, Larry Joe Link, and Bobby Wayne Link, Sr.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, December 11th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Ralph Gregory and Jason Bruce officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jake Link Cemetery with Jason Bruce, Payton Bruce, Michael Sadler, Jeff Link, Bobby Wayne Link, II., and David Dixon serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 10th from 4:00-8:00 PM and Sunday, December 11th from 11:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM.
