Obituary of Danny Barber

Danny Barber, age 71 of Castalian Springs, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022.  Funeral Service will be Monday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Mark McKee III and Phil Smith officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, December 11th from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Monday, December 12th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Entombment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with Ted Jennings, James “Dino” DeGlopper, Bert Parrish, Eldon Yankee, Curtis McMahon, and Ed Jennings serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Union Church of Christ Youth Fund, 2505 Hartsville Pike, Castalian Springs, TN  37031.

Mr. Barber was born April 27, 1951 in Dickson to the late William Charles Barber and Billie Jean Hooper Barber.  He is survived by wife, Vincie Swaney Barber of Castalian Springs; sons, Rusty Barber (Shelly) of Castalian Springs and Troy Barber (Meredith) of O’Fallon, IL; sister, Brenda Sterritt (Ronald) of Gallatin; and 4 grandchildren, Laynie Barber, Reese Barber, Chance Barber, and Lakelyn Barber.  He was a member of IBEW #429.  Danny owned C & D Electric and Plumbing for many years.  He had a love for hunting, family, travel, and food.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
