Obituary of Charles L. "Arrowhead" Thurman, Sr.

Charles Leslie “Arrowhead” Thurman, Sr. age 86 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022.  Celebration of Life Service will Friday, December 23^rd at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.  Visitation will be Friday, December 23^rd from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

Mr. Thurman was born March 21, 1936 in Gallatin to the late Tom Baker Thurman and Daisy Mable Brooks.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Sara Pyland Thurman; brothers, Miller Thurman, Dewey Thurman, Earl Thurman, and James Eugene Thurman; and sisters, Gracie Allison, Mary Whited, and Sue Delk.  He is survived by son, Charles L. “Chuck” Thurman, Jr of Gallatin; brother, Thomas Thurman (Linda) of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Phillip Sweet (Tammy), Ashby Page Boze (Patrick), and Thomas Thurman (Brenda); and 8 great grandchildren, Xavier Sweet, Rayden Sweet, Ethan Sweet, Sara Marie Sweet, Ellie Thurman, Mia Thurman, Ruby Thurman, and Chloe Thurman.  Special thanks to the staff at Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
