Obituary of Thelma Dean Jones

Mrs. Thelma Dean Jones, age 83 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Signature Healthcare in Portland. Thelma was born on December 22, 1939 in Gallatin, Tennessee to the late Odell and Katherine Fuqua.

Thelma is survived by her children, Judy Denton and Steven Jones; grandsons, Ely B. Drouin and Chris (Bridget) Spivey.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Eugene Jones; brothers, J.C. Fuqua and Billy Fuqua; sister, Barbara Nesbitt.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, January 4^th at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Mike Callis officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 4^th from 12:00 PM until time of service at 4:00 PM.
