Dad was my hero and taught me some of the most important lessons in my life. I've never had to wonder if I was loved and Dad was never too busy to spend time with me . Dad, you taught me to always let my last words to someone be, I love you. I love the way you used to bring home VHS movies like The Goonies, and Labyrinth and sit watching them while eating Doritos and drinking Pepsi or RC with us at night when we were children. I remember going to visit Dad in Lafayette once and as we were talking I noticed that he had little cuts and nicks on his face. When I asked what happened he told me that he opened his rooster's cage to feed it and it attacked him. He said he had to kill it to stop it. It's awful but for some reason I found it hilarious. I hope that I get to see you in heaven one day listening to classic rock and doing your silly Dad dance. I love you so much Dad!
