Obituary of Dottie Crowe

Dottie Crowe passed away on January 5, 2023 at age 81. The Memorial Service is 1 p.m. January 14, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church (2443 New Hope Rd) in Alexandria TN.

               Dottie Jean Henon Cox Crowe was born in Elizabethtown KY to Mattie Mildred Daugherty. She enjoyed riding her horse, reading, playing cards, dancing, traveling and crocheting. Playing with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren was one of her greatest joys. She worked for Floyd and Baxter’s Amusement Company for 13 years.

She is survived by children: Jeannie (George) Willard, Amos (Becky) Cox Jr., and Terry (Teresa) Cox; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Gordon Henon, Bobby Henon, and Joe Henon. She is preceded in death by husband Lavon Crowe, mother Mattie Daugherty, brother Billy Henon; and best friend Amos Cox Sr.  Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN 615.444.9393.
