Obituary of Lora Juliette Laitinen

Mrs. Lora Juliette Laitinen, age 61 of Old Hickory, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. Lora was born on December 23, 1961 in Franklin, Indiana to the late Wesley and Josephine Simpson.

Lora is survived by her children, Josephine Emmett and James Laitinen, Jr.; boyfriend, James “Wolf” Gilliam; father, Robert Lemmons; grandsons, Ralph Bernal and Shawn Gilliam; brothers, William “Butch” (Bonita) Simpson and Jerry (Dorcas) Simpson; sister, Rondia Lemmons.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Robert Emmett, Jr., James Douglas, and James Laitinen, Sr.; brothers, Wesley Simpson, Joey Simpson, and Roy Simpson.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 14^th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 14^th from 12:00 PM until time of service at 1:00 PM.
