Obituary of John David Todd, Sr.

John David Todd, Sr., age 81 of Gallatin, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023.  Funeral Service will be Friday, January 20th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, January 19th from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday, January 20th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Jacob Little, Dustin Todd, Wesley Todd, Bryson Todd, Preston Mock, Leon Harris, Chris Settle, and Jeremy Todd serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Todd was born October 1, 1941 to the late J. T. Todd and May Charlotte Casteel Todd.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Margaret Louise Malone Todd; brothers, James Todd, Bernie Todd, and William Robert “Bubby” Todd; and sisters, Maggie Lou John and Margie Holmes.  He is survived by son, John “David” Todd, Jr. (Shelli) of Gallatin; daughter, Rose Mary Todd Little (Tracy) of Gallatin; brothers, Marty Todd of Gallatin and Ray Todd (Carolyn) of Gallatin; sisters, Wanda Fowler of Portland, Barbara Lockhart of Kentucky, and Connie Sue Wix of Portland; 7 grandchildren, Kayla Little, Jacob Little, Ashley Baez, Dustin Todd, Wesley Todd, Bryson Todd, and Preston Mock; great grandchildren, William Carmill, Kaden Baez, Mya Baez, Jada Baez, Ezra Todd, Daxton Todd, Isaac Todd, Tucker Rose, and Mason Rose.  He loved old time country music.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
