Obituary of Ada "Sue" Smalling

Ms. Ada “Sue” Casteel Smalling, age 80, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at Tri-Star Hendersonville Medical Center. Funeral services for Ada Sue Smalling are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 1 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Pete Freeman, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in The Shrum Cemetery.   

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 4 PM until 8 PM and on Thursday, from 10 AM until service time at 1 PM.

Family respectfully requests donations be made towards the funeral expense.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Delton J. Smalling; Son, Junior Lee Smalling; Parents, Mitchell M. Casteel and Carrie G. Herald Casteel; Brothers, Thurman Casteel and Doug Casteel; and Sisters, Obel Graves and Sandra Elkens.

Ms. Ada Sue Smalling is survived by;
