Obituary of Donna M. Strack

Donna M. Strack, age 89 of Bethpage, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023.  Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, March 28^th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.  Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28^th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Strack was born August 8, 1933 in Erie, PA to the late Frank Lee and Helen Ebert Lee.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, David Boyd, Sr and Roy Strack; son, David Boyd, Jr.; grandchildren, Joshua Stritzinger and Jordan Thompson; great grandchild, Allysa Anglin; brother, Jack Lee; and sister, Nita Helmuth.  She is survived by children, Donna Erskine of Hendersonville, Darlene Boyd of Hendersonville, Doug Boyd (Missy) of Jasper, GA, Debra Shaw (Kenny Ruffin) of Greenbrier, Dena Ashley of Greenbrier, Darcie Reed (David) of Bethpage; step-son, Mike Strack of Ohio; 17 grandchildren, David Boyd III, Stephen Gurgon, John Boyd, Jami Higgins (Steve), Danny Boyd (Carly), Jackie Boyd, Robbie Boyd, Lea Strong, Sara Wright-Williams, Jeremy Wright, Justin Boyd, Elijah Ashley, Jonah Ashley, Bella Ashley, Jacob Sellers (Heather), Shae Reed, and Drew Reed (Alexa); 29 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Strack worked in the cafeteria for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools retiring after over 20 years of service.  She had a passion for gardening and worked summers at Opryland Theme Park in their gardens.   She adored children and watched over countless grandchildren.  Many, not her children, claimed her as their second mother.  No one ever in her presence left not feeling well loved.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
