Obituary of Patricia Ann Sims

Patricia Ann Wayton Sims, 78, of Nashville, TN peacefully passed away March 29, 2023.

Patricia (Pat) was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob E. Wayton, and was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles Wayne Sims and daughter, Tammy Leigh Sims.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed many family vacations to Disney, Universal and Panama City Beach, where she retired.

She is survived by her children; Scott Wayne Sims (Johanna) and Gretchen Sims Wiggins (Adam); brothers; Jerry Wayton (Jan) and Jake Wayton; grandchildren; Brodie Adam Wiggins and Charles Scott Sims along with many other loving family members.

 A private graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday March 31st at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.
