Obituary of Tammy Paris

Tammy Paris passed away on April 5, 2023 at age 57. The Funeral Service, conducted by Rev. Steve Delashmit, is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. Pallbearers: Greg Paris, David Henslee, Chris Berry, Dalton Berry, Robert Haynes, and James David Williams. Honorary Pallbearers: Kroger Co-workers. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m.

               Tammy Jean Jones Paris was born in Lebanon TN to Kathleen Tisdale Jones and Thomas “Ray” Jones. She worked at the Lebanon Kroger for over 40 years. She was a great decorator. She enjoyed time at the beach and with her daughter, especially at Disney World. She also enjoyed working in the yard with David, reading, and listening to country music. Tammy was very involved in her church, New Hope Presbyterian Church.

               Tammy is survived by her husband David Paris; daughter: Taylor Drake; parents: Kathleen and Ray Jones; sister: Ray Lynn (Howard) Crutcher; step-son: Greg (Vonda) Paris; grandchildren: Kelsey (Dr. Steven) Cakmes and Chloe Paris; aunts: Faye Berry and Sara Lindsey, numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins; and her best friend: Barbara Jones. She is preceded in death by grandparents Kate and Lee Jones, grandmother Earline Tisdale Conchin, and uncle Bill Berry.
