Obituary of Karen Thompson Steward

Ms. Karen Janette Steward, age 65 of New Deal, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at her residence. Karen was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 2, 1958 to the late Bill and Ava Thompson.

Along with her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Rusty Steward, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Chelsea Steward Rogers (Dusty Janz) and Sherah Steward Gregory; grandsons, Elijah Kyle Gregory, James Allen Gregory, III., and Brody Ray Janz; brothers, Gary (Sherri) Thompson and Scott (Jaime) Thompson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 14^th at 6:00 PM at the chapel behind the main building at Restoring Hope Church, 8655 Hwy 25 E, Cross Plains, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be Friday, April 14^th from 4:00 PM until service time at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the funeral expenses.
