Obituary of Rosa McClanahan Birge

Ms. Rosa Belle McClanahan Birge, age 64, of Scottsville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023. Funeral services for Ms. Rosa Birge are scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 1 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Bill and Sister Dot Traughber officiating. Interment will follow in The Green Grove Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 4 PM until 9 PM and on Tuesday from 8 AM until service time at 1 PM.

 

The family respectfully requests donations be made toward the funeral expenses.

 

Rosa Birge was preceded in death by Parents, Bill C. McClanahan and Nettie Kay Ray McClanahan; Three Grandchildren, Two Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Matt McClanahan and Eugene McClanahan; and Sisters, Pam McClanahan and Patty Davis.

 

Ms. Rosa Birge is survived by;

Larry Lee Likens and wife, Cindy

Carol Reid and friend, Tyson Huff

Rachel Birge and husband, Javier Cobaxin

Maria Orozco and husband, Victor

Melissa Rose and husband, Ronnie

 

Nine Grandchildren, Ten Great-Grandchildren, and A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
