Obituary of Melissa Scott

Melissa Scott passed away on May 16, 2023. Melissa Pleier Scott was born in Peoria, IL to Marjorie Winkelmann and William Pleier. She was a people person; always available with a listening ear and a giving heart. She eventually came to live in Lebanon TN and worked as an Executive Assistant with Harris Enterprise. Melissa enjoyed fishing with her son Zach, outdoors, and flowers.

               She is survived by son Zach Scott; siblings: Nancy (Dan) Koehne and Dave (Tara) Pleier; niece who was like a sister: Jaime Peterson; several beloved nieces and nephews; and her significant other: Lorenzo Seay. She is preceded in death by Zach’s father, David Scott, parents Marge and Bill Pleier, and siblings Jim Pleier, Marybeth Pleier, and Tommy Pleier.
