Obituary of Harry James Girton

Mr. Harry James Girton age 41, of Merrillville, Indiana passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023. Harry was born on November 17, 1981 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Manuel and Betty Girton.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Sonny Girton and sister, Ramona Girton.

Harry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joyce Annie Girton; children, Harry Girton, Jr., Joshua Girton, and Angel Girton; brothers, Manuel Girton, Jr., Walter (Pansy) Girton, Paul Girton, and Teddy (Donna) Girton; sisters, Julie (Myer) Lee, Ruby (Danny) Cardona, and Annie Girton.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 26^th at 1 PM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery with David Girton, Jackie Girton, Walter Girton, Jr., Jesse Cardona, Casanova Cardona, Teddy Girton, and Harry Girton, Jr. serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, May 24^th from 10:00-9:00 PM, Thursday, May 25^th from     10:00-9:00 PM, and Friday, May 26^th from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1 PM.
