Obituary of Rannye Walrond Robertson

Mrs. Rannye Walrond Robertson, age 71 of Hartsville, TN passed away Wednesday morning, May 24, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Robertson was born April 21, 1952 in Washington, D.C. to the late Samuel Barnabas Collins Sr. and Ethel Satterfield Collins.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband, Larry Walrond;  Brother, Samuel B. Collins Jr. and Infant Brother, Thomas Alfred Collins.

She was a member of the Hartsville United Methodist Church and was very active in many of the local charities and organizations in Hartsville.  She was married to Larry Walrond until his death in 1992 and from this union had three children.  She later married Jerry Robertson on November 30, 1996. 

Survived by:  Husband, Jerry Robertson-Hartsville, TN;  2 Sons, Larren (Heather) Walrond-Lafayette, TN & Darren (Kristin) Walrond-Lafayette, TN;  Daughter, Janna (Corey) Kirby-Lafayette, TN and 7 Grandchildren, Elyssa, Abbie, Weston, Kaydence & Wyatt Walrond, Valerie & Vanessa Kirby

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 11 AM Friday, May 26, 2023 conducted by Eld. Ken Roark and Rev. Tim Dunavant.  Interment will be in the Hartsville Memorial Gardens.  Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 8 PM Thursday and 9 AM until service time Friday.
