Obituary of Martha Moore

Martha Moore, age 95 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023.  Gathering of Friends will be Tuesday, May 30^th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.  There will be a private graveside service at a later date.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, 2201 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN  37203.

Mrs. Moore was born December 2, 1927 in Trousdale County to the late William Clay “Bill” Nollner and Betty Wright Nollner.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sons, David Ray Steward and Jeff Neal; brothers, Earl Nollner, Wilson Nollner, and Lawrence Nollner; and sisters, Betty Mathews, Billie Fivash, Louise Nollner, and Mary Jenkins.  She is survived by husband of 60 years, George Moore of Gallatin; sons, Gary Steward (Linda) of Bethpage and Mike Neal (Carolyn) of Gallatin; daughter, Cynthia Dickens (Rickie) of Gallatin; sister, Cora Duff of Donelson; 10 grandchildren, John Steward, Darren Steward, David Steward, Jr, Holli Steward, Sam Steward, Bryan Neal, Logan Neal, Jana Neal, Steve Thurman, and Scott Thurman; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
