I have fond memories of Mr. Cooper.
He would buzz around the class never slowing down, always doing something. It was hard to keep up with him (lol) you had to act fast if you had a question. But, when it really mattered he would slow down, with great patience and listen intently until his student was finished. Together they would work out whatever needed to be tackled.
Mr. Cooper took me under his wing a troubled teen and with the help of Mrs. Shrum together they, helped me to find my talent for making flowers and growing plants. I wasn't an official team member but, a supporter. Keeping up the green houses helping the team study ect.
Because of Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Shrum,
I am a florist 20+ years. I have passed my love of growing thing and FFA to my daughter. She is approaching her senior year of high school and she is on the Beech FFA team. I owe it all to Mr. Cooper, he seen something in me that others did not. Thank you Mr. Cooper for eveything we will miss you so much.
