Obituary of Humberto Flores

Flores, Humberto, age 77, of Mt. Juliet, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. He was born on July 21, 1945 in Laredo, Texas to Margarita (Arridondo) and Jose Flores.

Humberto served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He graduated from Findlay High School where he played basketball and football. He enjoyed playing Tejano and Christian music. He played in several band through the years. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and extended family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Margarita Peggy Gomez, Emma Molina, Alphonso Flores, Jose Flores, Esther Flores, and Arnolfo Flores.

He is survived by his wife Rosa (Villearreal) Flores; sons, Anthony (Michelle) Flores, Andrew (Lori) Flores, and Jeremiah (Teresa) Flores; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with Reverend Russ Fairbanks officiating, interment to follow. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 4-8 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet, 2229 N. Mt. Juliet Rd., Mt. Juliet, TN 37122.
