Obituary of Carol Allison

Carol Allison, age 80 of Gallatin, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023.  Celebration of Life Service will be rescheduled due to a family illness.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sumner County Animal Control, 1033 Union School Road, Gallatin, TN  37066. 

Mrs. Allison was born July 14, 1942 in Marshall County to the late Otha Russell and Nellie Owens Russell.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Clayton Russell; and sister-in-law, Macey Russell.  She is survived by husband of 63 years, Robert L. Allison of Gallatin; daughter, Carolyn Nichole Fox (John) of Gallatin; sons, Robert Durwin Allison of Portland and Michael Gregory Allison (Cassandra) of Hendersonville; brother, Freddie Russell (Susan) of Belfast, TN; sisters, Gail Smith (Joe) of Wheel, TN and Kay Payne (Jeff) of Lewisburg, TN; grandchildren, Christopher Allison, Trey Schlechty (Beth), and Ian Fox (Heather); and great grandchildren, Peyton Schlechty and Owen Schlechty.  Mrs. Allison was a Real Estate Agent for many years.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
