Obituary of Bobby Joe Stewart

Bobby Joe Stewart, age 64 of South Carolina, formerly of Gallatin, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 1^st at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Mark Scott officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 1^st from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.

Mr. Stewart was born November 10, 1958 in Gallatin to the late Charles Blakemore Stewart and Rebecca Caldwell Stewart.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Blake Stewart; and brother, Tommy Stewart.  He is survived by wife, Gayla Biggs Stewart of Blythewood, South Carolina; daughters, Kellye Cantrell (Dustin) of South Carolina and Mallory Greene (Cody) of Adams; sister, Jane Wright (David) of Gallatin; and grandchildren, Stella Cantrell, Carter Cantrell, and Truett Greene.  Mr. Stewart served our country in the United States Navy.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution (S.A.R.), the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), and Broadcast Music Inc.
