Obituary of Betty Ruth Stover

Betty Ruth Stover, age 86 of Gallatin, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023.  Funeral Service will be Friday, August 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Pastor Allan Crawford officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, August 4th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Thomas Stover, Ryan Stover, Kyle Stover, Kory Stover, Kody Stover, and Brice Lumpkins honoring her as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are Benny Stover and Dwayne Pierce.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Veranda Ministries, Inc., 650 Nashville Pike #7A, Gallatin, TN  37066.

Mrs. Stover was born April 30, 1937 in Crossville, TN to the late Vestal Paul Robbins and Nota Pearl Scarbrough Robbins.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband of 67 years, Henry Delbert Stover; sons, Dewayne Stover and Donald Stover; brothers, Willie Robbins and A. V. Robbins; and sister, Amelia Allene Stover.  She is survived by daughter, Debbie Denny (Kevin) of Gallatin; brother, Joseph Paul Robbins (Helen) of Goodlettsville; sister, Mary Joyce Anderson (Phil) of Lebanon; daughters-in-law, Renee Stover of Gallatin and Rosemary Stover of Castalian Springs; sister-in-law, Dorothy Robbins Stamps of Crossville; grandchildren, Rachel Stover, Ryan Stover (Andrea), Kyle Stover (Stacey), Kory Stover (Angela), Kody Stover, Hope Denny, and Hollie Denny; great grandchildren, Brice, Blair, Abby, Amelia, Gavin, Mason, Emma, Owen, Austin, Alexa, and Faith; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Darlene Pierce.  Mrs. Stover worked with her husband at J. and S. Construction and Stover and Sons Construction for many years.   Betty enjoyed cooking, camping, boating, bowling, sewing, and spending the winter months with her husband in Florida.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
