Obituary of Mary Lathonia "Pete" Minchey

Mary Lathonia “Pete” Minchey, age 87 of Gallatin, passed on Monday, August 7, 2023.  Funeral Service will be Friday, August 11^th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Pastor Howie Cantrell officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, August 11^th from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-9959.

Mrs. Minchey was born September 30, 1935 in Westmoreland to the late Hubert Gregory and Mary Lucille Beasley Gregory.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Billy Minchey.  She is survived by daughter, Sheri Roberts (Russell) of Gallatin; and granddaughters, Raeann Salter (Brandon) of Bethpage, Katherine Kelly (Jason) of Boston, MA, and Jodi Roberts of Gallatin.  Mrs. Minchey retired from Regions Bank after over 40 years of service.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
