Obituary of Homer Ray Todd

Homer Ray Todd, age 77 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023.  Funeral Service will be Monday, August 14th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Don Craighead officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, August 13th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Monday, August 14th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment and graveside service will be Tuesday, August 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Sumner Memorial Gardens (everyone please meet at the cemetery).  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Hill Church of Christ, 1000 Dobbins Pike, Gallatin, TN  37066.

Mr. Todd was born September 11, 1945 in Gallatin to the late John T. Todd and Charlotte May Casteel Todd.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, James Todd, William Todd, John Todd, and Bernie Todd; and sisters, Maggie Johns and Margie Holmes.   He is survived by wife of 60 years, Carolyn Brown Todd of Gallatin; son, Stephen Ray Todd (Tina) of Gallatin; daughter, DeAnna Carol Graves (Billy Wayne) of Gallatin; brother, Marty Todd of Gallatin; sisters, Barbara Lockhart of Kentucky, Connie Wix of Portland, and Wanda Fowler of Portland; grandchildren, Matthew L. Graves, Heather Templeton, and Morgan Wade; and great grandchildren, Ethan Graves, Stephanie Graves, Hayleigh Templeton, Judson Templeton, Kimber Templeton, and Waylon Wade.  Mr. Todd retired from Vought Aircraft Industries after over 20 years of service.  In addition, he worked for Peterbilt for several years.  He was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ.
