Obituary of Charles Crockett Parks III

Charles Crockett Parks III died peacefully August 25, 2023 following a brief illness.

Born October 1, 1969 to Yancey and Charlie Parks in Nashville, Tennessee.  He is predeceased by his mother and father, Yancey Richardson Parks and Charles C. Parks, Jr.  Survived by wife of 20 years, Tabathia Evans Parks; children, Abby Parks and Charlie Parks; sister, Mary Yancey Parks; uncle, J. Buist Richardson III (Martha). 

He attended Baylor High School in Chattanooga and graduated from Gallatin High School.  Crockett attended the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.  He graduated from Belmont School of Business in Nashville.

Crockett worked at the Charles C. Parks Company from his days in high school, where he would pull orders in the warehouse.  Years later, he became president of the company. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to True Rescue, 12110 Lebanon Road, Mt. Juliet, TN  37122.  Burial will be private.  Visitation will be Friday, September 1^st from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  The family has lovingly written the obituary.
