Obituary of Guadalupe Garcia
Lupe Garcia passed away on October 1, 2023 at age 72. Guadalupe Garcia was born in San Marcus TX to Maria Carrizales and Guadalupe Garcia Sr. He worked as a tour bus driver for more than 30 years. Once he drove for someone, he was requested thereafter. As Dave Matthews said, "Lupe never wanted to stop.He was one of the funniest people I've ever met. He loved his family and his friends all the way, and he had the greatest laugh. He is a legend." Lupe was inducted into the Entertainment Driver Hall of Fame in 2022. He enjoyed a social life, including eating out and playing golf.
Lupe is survived by his wife Kim Keckler Garcia, children Gabriel Jesus Garcia, Jay Garcia, Drew (Chelsea) Raymer, and Alex Raymer, 8 beloved grandchildren, sister Linda (Ken) Hill, and special pet “Lulu”. He is preceded in death by daughter Jovette Serrano, parents Guadalupe and Maria Garcia, brother Lancho Ramos, and sister Marie Ramirez.
