Obituary of Larry Ray Blackburn

Larry Blackburn, of Lebanon, passed away on December 20, 2014, at age 61. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. on Monday. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Rick Burns, is 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church (2363 Beasley's Bend Road), in Lebanon. Visitation at the church is from 11 a.m. until the service. Interment in Wilson County Memorial following the service. Pallbearers: Ricky Dedman, Phillip Hightower, Larry Gibbs, Jimmy Wrye, Larry Brown, Kerry Hodge, and Marvin Rowe. Honorary Pallbearers: Fellow co-workers at the Post Office. The family extends a special thank you to Tennessee Oncology and Alive Hospice. Mr. Blackburn is survived by wife: Lorie Blackburn; children: Kelsey Blackburn and Katie Blackburn; siblings Tommy (Lynn) Bowen and Carol Meadows; brother-in-law: Harold Ayers; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Earl and Morine Scott Ramsey, sister Brenda Ayers.
