Obituary of Casey Lain Johnston

Casey Johnston passed away on December 20, 2010 at age 34. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 26th and from 9 a.m. until service on Monday. The chapel service is 11 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chad Jones, Jody Johnston, Gary Thorne, Blake Bass, Jacob Robbins, Chipp Edwards, Michael Wells, and Wendell Johnston. Honorary Pallbearers: Staff and friends at Turning Point Foundation. Casey was serving as a leadership intern at the Turning Point Foundation in Thorsby, Alabama. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and attended the Church of God. Make memorial donations to the Turning Point Foundation (1881 County Road 627, Box 448, Thorsby AL 35171, 205.646.3650). Survivors include wife: Angie Johnston; one child: Kasey Johnston; mother: Sarah Johnston; siblings: Chad (Wendy) Jones, Jody (Becca) Johnston, and Amy (Blake) Bass; nieces and nephews: Caitie Jones, Will Jones, Emma Kate Bass, and Carter Bass; and grandmother: Jean Clemons. He is preceded in death by father Joe Johnston, grandfather Bill Clemons, and grandparents M.A. and Nettie Johnston.
