Obituary of Larry Thomas Harvill

HARVILL, Larry Thomas, age 70 of Old Hickory passed away December 9, 2013. Mr. Harvill was employed at E. I. DuPont for 24 years and was a member of the Old Hickory Bunch. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 13th at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. David Shannon officiating and Jason Shepherd assisting. Interment will follow the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Mike Pryor, Billy Prince, Roger Hunley, Grant Carruth, Galen Romines and Troy Feltner serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: Dr. Jon Levine, Dr. Cordell Chaffin, Jerry Williams and Paul Corley. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 12th from 4-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Friday, December 13th. He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas C. & Grace J. Harvill; and siblings, Donald Harvill and Jean Harvill Harris. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sue Marlow Harvill; sons, Thomas Alan Harvill and John Fredrick Harvill; cousins, Jerry & Mary Ann Williams; sister-in-law, Peggy Woodfin Harvill; nieces and nephews, Dianne H. Blair, Brenda H. Piercey, Don W. Harvill, Jr., and Angela H. Gentry; and several great nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Healing Hands International or Church of Christ Disaster Relief Fund.
