Obituary of George Page

PAGE, George W., Sr., age 82 of Mt. Juliet passed away December 17, 2014. Mr. Page was preceded in death by parents, Ryland and Mary Page; brother, Robert D. Page; and grandchildren, Justin Jones and Davin Jones. He is survived by wife of 59 years, Mildred Goins Page; children, Gayle (Jimmy) Lackey, Cheryl (Andy) Jones, Melissa (Paul) Sokol, Christi Russell, George (Renee) Page, Dwayne (Dawn) Page, Donald Page and Dennis Page; brothers, David (Kathy) Page, Johnny Page, James (Carolyn) Page, Rufus Page, and Tom (Ruth) Page; sisters, Mary Page Gonzalez, Charlotte Thomson, Martha Dobbs, Faye Redden and Belinda (Larry) Weathers; grandchildren, Chris Lackey, Jennifer Smith, Kelly Jones, Amanda Bach, Abby Jones, Hollie Gregory, Michael Page, Cristal Bull, Natoashe Gardner, Amy Crutchfield, Justin Page, Brittany Page, Tiffany Page, Kaycie Vanzant and Kelsey Seibert; 30 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20th at 1 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Rev. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with George Page, Jr., Dwayne Page, Donald Page, Dennis Page, Chris Lackey, Michael Page, Jimmy Lackey, Andy Jones and Paul Sokol serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: Nealon Agee, Bobby Butler, Gamaliel Crisostomo, Albert Denney, Larry Walker, and the Mt. Juliet Senior Citizens. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 19th from 3-8 pm and Saturday, December 20th from 11 am until time of service. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Alive Hospice.
