Obituary of Robert Ranard

RANARD, Robert "Pop", age 86 of Mt. Juliet passed away March 3, 2013. Mr. Ranard was a 32nd degree Mason and belonged to Zorah Shrine in Dugger, IN. He was preceded in death by parents, Elmo & Iva Ranard; wife, Retha Ranard; brother, Hubert Ranard; daughter, Norma Plemons; and granddaughter, Tasha Plemons. He is survived by daughter, Linda Racey; brother, Bill (Wanda) Ranard; sister, Betty (Ray) Shonk; grandchildren, Greg Racey, Jeff Racey, Crystal (Marty) Allen and Christopher Plemons; great-grandchildren, Jessica Allen, Elizabeth Racey, Robert Racey, Abigail Plemons, Max Wallace Plemons and Kody Racey; great-great-grandchild, Jace Ericson (Racey) and nieces and nephews, Janice Berger, Masha Chappell, Lynn Kaucher, Doug Ranard and Rod Ranard. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8th at 1pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Rev. Ray Pledger officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Marty Allen, Greg Racey, Jeff Racey, Christopher Plemons, Kody Racey and Robert Racey serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: the Security Staff and Friends at Gaylord Opryland. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, March 6th from 4-8 pm, Thursday, March 7th from 4-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home at Mt.
