Obituary of Lillian Walpole Bowen

BOWEN, Lillian Walpole, age 94 of Mt. Juliet passed away Monday, March 8, 2010. Preceded in death by husband, Hooper Bowen; daughter, Helen June Bowen; parents, Horace and Sophia Price Walpole; sisters, Ruby Dickens and Edna Lackey; brothers, Horace �Buster� Walpole and Tilghman�Buddy� Walpole. Survived by daughters, Loretta B. Lane of Gladeville and Deloise Smith (William) Woodall of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Eric and Michael Henry, Joe (Niki) Lane of Gladeville, Steve (Judi) Smith of Mt. Juliet, Julie (Scott) Terry of Essex Junction, VT; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Montgomery Campbell of Hermitage and Christine Clinton of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Pheleda Walpole of Mt. Juliet; brother, J. V. Walpole of Lebanon; and many special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 10th at 2pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Kenneth Bowen officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Eric Henry, Michael Henry, Joe Lane, Steve Smith, Steven Henry and Jessie Henry serving as pallbearers.
