Obituary of Doris J. Martin

MARTIN, Doris J., passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Vanderbilt Medical Center at age 79. She was a Methodist and secretary with the 1st United Methodist Church in Donelson. She was an employee with the State of TN in the accounting department. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by husband, Billy C. Martin; and parents, Ernest and Lora Rabine Lambert. Survived by daughter, Rhee (Sam Bates) Martin; son, Dennis Martin; grandsons, Ryan G. Crook and Brandon (Kim) Martin; granddaughter, Brittany (Matthew) Maltese; great-grandsons, Jackub G. Crook, Christian Martin and Brayden Maltese; great-granddaughter, Kylee Martin; brothers, Ronnie (Connie) Lambert, Jim (Maxine) Lambert, and Doyle (Opal) Lambert; and nieces and nephews from Missouri. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 10th at 2 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Dennis Martin, Ryan Crook, Sam Bates, Shane Bratton, Brandon Martin, and Matthew Maltese serving as pallbearers.
