Obituary of James Ernest Duke

James Ernest Duke, age 71 of Cottontown, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015. Memorial Service will be Friday, April 3rd at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Mr. Duke was born November 7, 1943 in Gallatin, TN, son of the late, Brodie and Berta Neal Duke. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Sue Butler and Pat Brown. He is survived by son, James Scott Duke (Mary "Jackie" Keith) of Gallatin; daughters, Tammie Birdwell (Leroy) of Cottontown and Kim Johnson (Tony) of Joelton; brother, Billy Duke (Alice) of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Bobby Blackwell, Anthony Prince, Hailey Duke, Wesley Fuqua and Brandi Bradley; great grandchildren, Kaylynn Fuqua, Keeli Fuqua, Sara Prince, Jordon Prince and Zoe Blackwell.
