Obituary of Horace Cole

COLE, Horace "Bubba", age 55 of Mt. Juliet passed away January 2, 2014. Mr. Cole was a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School in 1976, TN State Jr. Bid-Calling Champion and an active member of the Green Hill church of Christ. He retired from AT&T in 2000 after 25 years of service. Mr. Cole was preceded in death by father, Horace B. Cole, Sr.; sister, Rhonda Cole; and mother-in-law, Ruby Daugherty. He is survived by wife of 7 years, Barbara Cole; children, Michelle (Rick) Barber and Steven (Chrissy) Coker; mother, Ruth Cole; brothers, Mark (Sharon) Cole and Cliff (Tara) Cole; sister, Genita (Shane) Sharp; grandchildren, Bailey, Landon, Lucas and Ashlynn; sister-in-law, Joyce Heard; brother-in-law, Gary Daugherty; and several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 5th at 3 pm at Green Hill church of Christ with Bro. August Ruff officiating. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 4th from 4-8 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church.
