Obituary of Loraine F. Carter

Loraine F. Carter, age 96, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from the Lebanon First United Methodist Church in Lebanon, TN with an hour of visitation prior to service time. A Graveside Service will be conducted on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, AL. She was born December 12, 1918 in Crenshaw Co., AL to the late Ruben Parks Franklin and Lessie Mae Rhodes Franklin. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Carter; sisters, Jewel Franklin, Doris Wallitalo, Marie Boyd; and brother, Ben Franklin. Survivors include daughters, Beverly Babich (Al), Judy Jahrig (Mike); grandchildren, Wade Brunson (Michelle), Todd Tate (Amy), Theresa Zdorov (Roman); brother, Charles Franklin; 3 nieces; 2 nephews, and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
