Obituary of Susan ReJean Simmons

Susan ReJean Simmons, age 72 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 10th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Squires officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens with Wyatt Reed, Corbin Estes, John Simmons, Vincent Wehby, Jim Reed, and Lee Clark serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, March 9th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 10th from 12 noon until time of service. Mrs. Simmons was born November 21, 1942 in LaPorte, IN, daughter of the late James R. Cook and Gladys Jeffries Cook. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Ronnie Cook. She is survived by husband of 36 years, Richard M. Simmons; children, Carla Wehby (Vincent) of Gallatin, Doug Estes (Holly) of Cordova, TN, Lee Simmons (Mykaela) of Easton, MO, Dawn Reed (Jim) of Gallatin; grandchildren, Corinne Wehby, Clarie Wehby, Noah Wehby, Corbin Estes, Camden Estes, Wyatt Reed, Jonah Reed; and brothers, John Cook of Knoxville and Charles Cook (Trish) of Brazil, IN.
