Obituary of Christa Elaine Farmer

Christa E. Farmer, of Crossville TN earned her wings on Friday, July 24, 2015. She was born, Christa Elaine Ulrich on February 1, 1984 in Peoria, Illinois to Mitcheal L. Ulrich and Karen L. (Tennison) Ulrich. She married Brian K. Farmer on July 3, 2006. She is survived by her husband Brian and their children Kelsey (14), Hannah (12), Mitcheal (11), Abbi (9) and Gabe (7). Her siblings Brian Menard (Woojung, Chloe, Liam) of Ashland City TN, Lacey Laszlo (Steve, Paige, Hunter, Stephen, Izabella) of Smyrna, TN, Randy Johnson (Kristina, Sahara) of Lebanon,TN, Rachael Landaverde (Carlos, Gabriella) of Madison, TN, Josh Johnson of Crossville, TN, and several extended siblings and her grandfather Dale Tennison. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, and furbabies. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Christa was a loving and caring wife and devoted mother who worked hard every day to help strengthen her family. She grew up in Lebanon, Tennessee with her five siblings. She later moved to Illinois, where she met and married the love of her life, and best friend. They later moved to Tennessee where they made their life with their children and many animals. There was nothing more important to her than her family and close friends, everyone that met her loved her. She was generous almost to a fault and would give anyone her last dollar, but not her last soda. She was forever forgiving of anyone. She was a phlebotomist who loved her job and her clients. She enjoyed being outside, hiking, fishing and enjoying nature. Christa was an avid garage saler and was sure to show off her findings. Christa was overjoyed by the athletic abilities of her five children, and proud to attend many practices and games. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her husband and her children. This world will be less without her. The Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Visitation at the funeral home is from 11 a.m. until the service and interment in Bethlehem Cemetery will follow the service. Family will serve as Pallbearers.
