Obituary of Melvin Loyd Daniels

Loyd "Chief" Daniels Jr. passed away on Friday, may 18, 2012 at age 42. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and from 11 a.m. until the service on Tuesday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Jimmy Barrett, is 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Odell Eldridge, Michael Castleberry, John Vaughn, Daniel Eldridge, Woody, and Chris Sherfield. Survivors include wife of 24 years: Tonya Morgan Daniels; daughters: Shalena Daniels and Heather Daniels; mother: Linda Hale; father: Melvin Daniels, Sr.; grandchildren: Landen and Samuel Daniels; siblings: John (Karen) Hale, Annie (Miguel) Juarez, Karen (Odell) Eldridge, Rita (Frankie) Vaughn, Brenda (Wes) Hale, Leslie (James) Williams, Wanda White, and Angela Sherfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his dad John Samuel Hale, grandparents Charlie and Annie White and Carrie Hale, and father-in-law Charlie Morgan.
