Obituary of Gene Mitchell

Gene "Baby" Mitchell passed away on January 29, 2010 at age 72. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010, 2-8 p.m. Sunday, and from 11 a.m. until service on Monday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars and Matthew Neal, is 2 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2010. Interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Matthew Neal, Nick Dutton, Timmy Mitchell, Steven Hale, Dewayne Garcia, and Chad Beard. Honorary Pallbearers: Wayne Drennon, Paul Tramell, Bobby Lax, and Charles Davis. Survivors include wife of 41 years, Polly Hale Mitchell; children: Donna Foster, Trisha Mitchell, Lisa (Eugene) Neal, Elizabeth (Roger) Dyer, and J.R. (Janet) Dutton; siblings: Margaret McDonald, Don (Shirley) Mitchell, and Edward (Nealie) Mitchell; grandchildren: Kelsey Foster, Marshallene Hooper, Amber Neal, Matthew Neal, Crystal (Nick) Dutton, Anthony Dyer, and Angela Anello; great-grandchildren: Zachary Anello and James Dyer. He is preceded in death by parents Ernest and Sarah Spann Mitchell, sisters Wylene Harmon and Louise Williams, and brothers Jerry and Robert Mitchell.
