Obituary of Joe R. Edmondson

Joe Edmondson passed away on April 7, 2013 at age 89. The family will be receiving friends at the Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Milton Hicks and Brother Leon Edwards, is 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Living Springs Baptist Church (4559 Weakley Lane) in Smyrna TN. Interment in Lannom Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jeremy Smith, Buster Edmondson, Jacob White, David Bennett, Ron Eady Jr., Shane Eady, and Dalton Eady. Honorary Pallbearers: Fishers of Men Class and David Mottern. Survivors include wife of 68 years Sara McPeak Edmondson; children: Joe (Margaret) Edmondson and Jerelyn Eady; sisters: Louise Burnette and Margaret Bailey; grandchildren: Ron Eady Jr., Shane Eady, Laura Bennett, Gina White, Tina Luffman, and Buster Edmondson, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents George and Pearl Yarbrough Edmondson, daughter Robin Edmondson, one sister, and five brothers.
