Obituary of Marion C. Parker

Marion Parker of Murfreesboro passed away on August 28, 2011 at age 71. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. on Monday and from noon until the service on Tuesday. The chapel service, conducted by Pastor Scott Gillon, is 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Interment in Wilson County Memorial. Pallbearers: David Edgin, Blake Edgin, Roger Nixon, Chad Hibdon, Kyle Reynolds, and Vincent Johnson. Memorial Donations: Evermean Evergreen Clogging Team (Attn Melissa Pack) and/or Whitley Memorial Baptist. Survivors include husband of 40 years, Dorris Parker; two daughters: Kim (Joel) Donnell and Cheryl (David) Edgin; grandchildren: Kayla (Greg) Edgin Bearringer, Blake Edgin, and Megan Edgin; nieces and nephews; and special friend: Princess. She is preceded in death by parents Cecil and Altie Puttie Nixon and brothers Cordell, Clifton, and Fred Nixon.
