Obituary of Martha B. Mires

WILSON COUNTY MIRES, Martha "Poodle-Doo", age 68 of Mt. Juliet passed away August 25, 2008. Mrs. Mires was preceded in death by parents, Robert & Virginia Benson. She is survived by husband of 50 years, Jerry Mires; son, Buddy (Tina) Mires; daughter, Pam (Wesley) Neely; brothers-in-law, Monty (Kellie) Mires and Eddie Mires; nephews, John and Chad Mires; niece, Shane Lofton; grandchildren, Brooke, Rob and Jenna Neely, Jenny (John) Lamb, and B. J. and Harley Mires. Funeral services for Mrs. Mires will be Wednesday, August 27th at 1 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Darrell Duncan officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with John Mires, Chad Mires, Monty Mires, Eddie Mires, John Lamb, Rob Neely, B. J. Mires and Josh Sloan serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 26th from 2 - 8 pm and Wednesday, August 27th from 10 am - 1 pm.
