Obituary of Irma Jean Miller

WILSON COUNTY MILLER, Irma Jean, age 90 of Ridgefield, CT passed away August 19, 2008. Born in Brooklyn, NY on November 7, 1917, Mrs. Miller grew up in Lynbrook Long Island. She attended Hofstra University. She worked as a legal secretary for local attorneys in Ridgefield, volunteered for the school band and the Thrift Shop, and tutored students. She was a member of the Jesse Lee Methodist Church and the Newcomers Club. She was active with the Yankee Peddler Fair and various bridge groups. Mrs. Miller was an excellent seamstress and loved to paint and restore antiques. In 2000, she moved to Tennessee with her husband to live with her son. She loved her family, friends and Ridgefield. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Paul R. Miller. She is survived by her son, Paul Miller of Mt. Juliet, TN; and many friends.
