Obituary of Jimmy Turner Davis

Jimmy Davis passed away on August 9, 2011 at age 68. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the service. The chapel service, conducted by Brother John Hunn and Brother Eltis Brown, is 3 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011. Interment in Leeville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Memorial Contributions: Immanuel Baptist Church Missions Ministry. Mr. Davis was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Lebanon TN. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and worked for the City of Lebanon in the Engineering Department. Mr. Davis managed the Corner Market and owned West End Skating Rink. Survivors include wife of 34 years, Kathryn Brown Davis; son, Richard "Rick" Perry Davis; daughter, Lori Beth Davis; mother, Sophie Nell Brewington Davis; sister, Vickie Davis (Russell) Witt; nieces, Tracy Witt (Bill) Granna and Elizabeth Witt (Chris) Walters; great-nephews, Witt Granna and Will Granna. He is preceded in death by father Perry Davis. Special thanks to Smith Fork Baptist Church, Immanuel Baptist Church, and College Hills Church of Christ.
